hi guys! we can use the tagboard on the right for discussion, hopefully it doesn't get overrun by spammers as it often happens.
Just some thoughts I had:
1) Don't vote together
People are often quick to overanalyse the slightest trends - so try to avoid voting together as much as possible. The only instance when we may vote together is when one of us is in trouble, then we'll try to find a reason to suggest another person to be the scapegoat.
Even then, try to keep it to maximum of 3 people together, and every time we have 3 mafia voting on one person let's switch up who the 3 are too.
2) Stay low profile
Stay 'under the radar' as long as possible. Don't attack anyone, don't give people reason to pick apart your posts to accuse you of anything. We should only start to post when one of us starts getting doubted, then we can chip in to accuse someone ELSE. But 'defending' each other should be avoided as it is a tell.
3) Force ties
From the previous games, ties casts unnecessary doubts because people are dumb. If let's say there is a 4 - 5 votes situation and you can make it 5-5, DO IT. (assuming the 2 parties involved are not part of us) Force ties as much as possible, either way someone else is going to die anyway.
5) Kill choices
I'm not quite sure how to decide on the kill choices.
If someone is talking too much, we may want to leave him alive just so he gets targetted.
If someone is random accusing someone else of being Mafia, we may want to kill him just so to put the spotlight on that 'someone else' possibly being Mafia and hence wanting to 'silence' that person.
If someone is talking too little, we may want to kill him as he may be trying to 'stay under the radar'.
Other than that I don't see how else this can be done.
I suppose we'll go with a majority vote for our decision ? SO when night falls, just type in who you wanna vote for and why, and the majority vote will be our kill.
